Personal Record

Collaboration with Karel Koplimets
Interactive installation with video and DVD-s, 2011/2017

Personal Record was an effort to create social map of Tallinn. When boundaries between public and private are blending together, then the distinction between collective and personal is becoming important.

In internet it is easy to publish personal information, but our intrest lays: how the situation differs on the street. If people want to share their private data with strangers.

If there is “nothing to hide” and if “information wants to be free”.
Internet identity is created according few categories, which makes sending “personal advertising” easier. We were intrested, how and if this narrow form changes in direct vocal contact.
